The kitchen in this two-bedroom condo unit has been designed like a Swiss army knife. It’s a multipurpose space that’s meant not just for cooking and dining, but also for working. The large island is a table for meals, but also functions as a workspace.
A hardwearing Dekton surface was therefore chosen. Dekton by Cosentino is great for high traffic areas, given its high resistance to scratches, stains, heat, abrasion, and even UV rays. Dekton is offered in slabs of varying thickness, which means it can be adapted to many different designs. It also comes in large format slabs, which broadens design possibilities.

YES 933 DJ Zhong Kunhua’s five-room flat is done in true retro style. This service yard, which has been carved out from the original kitchen, serves as a backyard garden of sorts.
The floor tiles enhance the vintage feel of this space and were sourced from Hafary. The company is a leading supplier of tiles in Singapore and a favourite with designers and homeowners alike. Given the diversity of surface options, it’s not hard to see why.

The family living in this compact three-bedroom apartment wanted the kitchen to be the centre of life. The space has been opened up so that it is now an integral part of the communal living space. The ambience is relaxed and cafe-like, encouraging the family to come together to chill and unwind, or to host intimate gatherings.
The deep green cabinets are made of high performance Fenix surface, a high-tech material with many unique characteristics. With low light reflectivity, its surface is extremely opaque, soft touch and anti-fingerprint.
Fenix is also highly resistant to scratches, abrasion, dry heat, acid-based solvents and household reagents. If all that isn’t enough, superficial micro-scratches can even be resolved with thermal healing.
