Did you know Harman Kardon, a 65-year old home and car audio tech company, has been a subsidiary of Samsung since 2017? Fast forward to this year and they’ve launched Omni+, a new collection of Wi-Fi-enabled HD home audio system with exceptional sound.
The wireless collection comprises Omni 10+, 20+ and 50+ HD speakers, Adapt+ HD receiver and Bar+ HD sound bar with a subwoofer. Here are seven reasons why this premium series for entertainment lovers is hitting the right note.
#1 No strings attached
The Harman Kardon Omni 10+ is a smaller but mightier wireless HD speaker. Easy to set up, it can access Spotify Connect and Chromecast built-in so you can listen to your favourite playlist, play podcasts and cast audio from your phone too. Just plug it into a power source, follow the easy setup guide and stream tunes wirelessly.
#2 Play it cool
The Harmon Kardon Omni+ series is created to blend in beautifully with the interiors of a house. Its contemporary design, complete with a curved shape and rounded edges, makes it a pleasing sight. All except the Omni 50+ come in two colours – black and white.
#3 Out and about
While the Omni 10+ and 20+ need to be attached to a power source, the Omni 50+ has a rechargeable battery for portability. Since its splash and weatherproof, it’s perfect for a pool party or beach picnic.
#4 App-solute control
Although it does have one-touch buttons on top of the device, it can be controlled from a distance via the brand’s app. And since the Omni+ speakers stream music via Wi-Fi (and Bluetooth if you need), you can expect more clarity and more freedom to move around the house with your phone.
#5 Make a move
You can pair a network of Omni+ speakers around the house for a fun Follow Me Audio feature. When you move from the bedroom to the kitchen, just press the Link button on top the speaker to listen to same music in both rooms.
#6 Super ‘surround’ing
Meet the Omni Bar+. It’s a wireless HD sound bar that comes with a subwoofer and can be connected to your television with just one cable. It supports 5.1-surround sound, which means you can wirelessly pair two Omni+ speakers for multi-channel home theatre experience.
#7 Upgrade away
Turns out you can transform your existing stereo and home theatre system into a wireless HD one with the Adapt+. This little wireless HD receiver also adds-on Omni+ features like access to Spotify Connect, Chromecast built-in, Follow Me Audio, phone app controlling and more.
