Mixed Bag

The Interior Place offers up a fine balance of details and textures in this apartment at The Anchorage.

Often, interesting designs are birthed out of contrasts and juxtapositions. Putting ideas and designs of different genres together in a single space usually offers a point of difference in spaces. For this two-bedroom apartment at The Anchorage, designer Candy Ng of The Interior Place married classical elements with a contemporary attitude to create a unique home.

Materials and details are truly the stars of the show here. Starting at the entrance foyer, Candy incorporated tea-tinted mirror panels that conceal the bomb shelter entrance and add a warm sheen to the space.
