Non-structural walls were demolished to redefine the layout of the four-room flat, accommodating the needs of the homeowner and her pets. In the kitchen, smooth matte black carpentry meets sleek stainless steel and black marble countertops, juxtaposing the rough cement wall finish to create a raw yet refined look that is understatedly grand – a dream space for the homeowner to spend her free time baking and experimenting with recipes.

In the bathroom, a tapestry of rectangular mosaic tiles lend depth and texture to the modest space. A palette of soothing grey tones establishes a calm atmosphere, providing an ideal canvas for playful details such as an exposed bulb.
