Whether you’re living in an HDB flat or a condo apartment, having plenty of daylight makes the home feel spacious and more airy. While this family home receives a good deal of natural light, the designers from AC Vision Design were careful to strike a balance between the design elements and just the right intensity of light.
In this home, the designers also used textured finishes in neutral tones to contribute to the interior’s quiet sophistication, and light-enhancing surfaces (such as tinted mirrors) to bring more lustre. In the living and dining areas for example, streamlined cove lighting unifies the spaces. Different types of wallpapers and textures also help to create a balance between light and shade.
