When the Habitat One designers were drawing up plans for this Seasons Park condominium, they were confident that they could design a home that is perfect for rest and relaxation. The main purpose was to create a cosy abode where the homeowners can instantly feel relaxed when they step through the front door.

This ambience was achieved by carefully balancing out the use of colours, materials and textures throughout the rooms. Take the living and dining rooms for example. These common spaces are decked with warm wood floors that are almost black in colour. The choice of floorings immediately grounds the room and sets the tone for the rest of the interiors. Earthy wood tones continue on the walls, furniture and built-in carpentry. The result is a home that is easy on the eyes.

Also of note is the open kitchen, which has been clad in both matt and glossy laminates in various shades of black and dark brown. Similarly, the bedrooms and bathrooms continue the laidback look, resulting in a condominium apartment that successfully brings resort-living to a modern-contemporary setting.
