Lookbox Annual dedicated a special night to Singapore interior designers in an event hosted by Tappeti at Stylecraft.

On 18 May, Lookbox Annual invited all 25 interior design firms featured in the latest 2023 edition, and some of Singapore’s leading designers to an evening of appreciation and celebrative fun. The event was hosted by Tappeti at the Stylecraft showroom.
Over 100 designers attended the Designer Appreciation Night, and the showroom was buzzing with a lively atmosphere as guests enjoyed the beautiful antipasti spread and natural wines, and checked out the colourful Tappeti rugs on display.
The night’s programme kicked off with short introduction into Tappeti by its National Sales & Product Manager, Patrick Simmonds.
Lookbox Living/Lookbox Annual editor, Janice Seow, followed on with the highlights to be found in this year’s annual, and the latest insights into Lookbox Living. Also included was as special announcement that Lookbox Annual 2023 was launching a People’s Choice contest at the end of May and inviting the public to vote for their favourite home project featured in the annual (click here for more details!).
Forming an important part of the Designer Appreciation Night, special tokens of appreciation were presented to interior design firms that had partnered with Lookbox Annual for five years and more. A total of 11 longstanding partners were presented with tokens of appreciation that night, including ones from past years.
It proved to be a sentimental walk down memory lane with a slide show showcasing many of the firms’ significant projects and special moments from the past years of the annual.
The next part of the programme was a fun game of Kahoot! where guests were tested on what they knew about Lookbox Annual, Lookbox Living and Tappeti. A total of three fabulous prizes were given away.
First prize courtesy of Gaggenau was a dinner experience for 4 at 1-Michelin Star Restaurant Nouri valued at $1,832; second prize also from Gaggenau was a Western Omakase dining experience for 4 at Chef’s Table valued at $1,632; and third prize courtesy of Lookbox Living was a $200 CapitaLand voucher.
The evening of fun continued with a Tappeti rug game that involved counting the number of lines on an Ora High Low rug. First prize was a Raffles Hotel voucher worth $250, with two runner-up prizes being a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne, all courtesy of Tappeti.
All in all, the event was the perfect chance to celebrate all the interior design firms featured in the Lookbox Annual, and acknowledge the talent that the Singapore design scene has to offer.
