Cosentino, the Spanish global leader of innovative and sustainable surfaces for contemporary architecture and design, has launched its highly anticipated stone collection, Dekton® Pietra Kode. This collection marks Cosentino’s third collaboration with renowned designer and architect Daniel Germani, and unveils his remarkable vision.
The beauty of three antique natural stones, Vicenza, Travertine and Milan’s iconic Ceppo di Gré, have been deconstructed and reconstructed as high-performance surfaces for Dekton® Pietra Kode. Germani reinterpreted it as seven hues that channel the influence of each distinctive stone, and reimagined them in a contemporary setting with the durability and strength of Dekton®. He says: “This collection showcases luxury in the small, understated details. It’s designed with the future in mind and complements any space in a way that won’t go out of style.”
Each colour of the series therefore grants sleek sophistication to architecture and design, with its rich shades and tactile textures elevating the sensory experience for the user.
Under Vicenza Kode, there are four warm and neutral hues redefining classic Vicenza stone and are well-paired with cream, wood and taupe palettes. Travertine Kode takes its cue from Italian Travertine and Travertine Navona with two colours embedded in classic art and inspired Renaissance architecture. Ceppo Kode comprises one classic hue with that unmistakable pebbled pattern that brings the distinctive essence and structure of the Ceppo di Gré stone to mind.
Versatile as it is timelessly beautiful, the carbon-neutral Dekton® surface can be used in a boundless range of indoor and outdoor applications. Its sustainability, superior resistance to UV rays, scratches, stains and thermal shock, and its very low water absorption make it the ultimate all-rounder surface.
