The third edition of The Artling Pop-Up is back! From 8 to 17 September, Artspace@Helutrans plays host to the fair that’s organised by The Artling, an art consultancy and online gallery that focuses on contemporary Asian art and design.

Art lovers will behold more than 80 artworks by the most promising artists under the age of 40, from seven different countries in Asia. From paintings to sculptures, established galleries are showcasing some acclaimed regional and international contemporary artists.

If you don’t count yourself as an expert in the world of art, you should still head to The Artling Pop-Up to check out a specially curated experience called ‘DESIGN’ by The Artling. For the first time, you’ll be able to see, touch and try the collection of design objects and furniture items from the Design section of The Artling’s website. These artistically inspired pieces range from vases and lamps to tables and chairs, each easily becoming a statement piece in our interior design. Here are some of our fave finds that you’ll spot at The Artling Pop-Up.

These delicate beauties are designed to combine a crystal vase, plant and water into one poetic form. They come in three sizes, each with a shallow pool at the top of the container for liquid to be filled.

Fouette by Desinere

Take home these precious hand-crafted brass spintop. The unique facets subtly reflect the light as they rest on your desk as a paperweight. When you’re feeling fidgety, give them a twirl and they’ll spin as elegantly as a ballerina performing a fouette.

Imagine keeping your precious belongings in a bubble. That’s part of the inspiration behind these beautiful catch-alls made from acrylic with baked enamel coating. The set of vessels (sold separately) is inspired by “the personal ritual of dressing up”. Each shape is meant to hold a watch, a ring and a necklace, but feel free to store any of your precious belongings in these beauties.

Monolith table by Desinere

These steel side tables are available in four colour options, namely brushed metal, matt black, matt white and matt blue. Exquisitely formed, the tables are made from solid steel but are shaped so delicately that they’re sure to be the centrepiece in your living room.

This laser-cut mirror is an objet d’art that subtly sits in your home and yet, makes a lasting impression on anyone who looks at it. The mirror’s dual tones and diagonal cut are designed to make you question your daily ritual. What do you see when viewing your own reflection? Functional art has never looked this good.

Scherzo by State Property

Crafted in blackened brass peacock mother-of-pearl and four brilliant diamonds, this desktop clock is a showstopper for your collection. The clock face is perched on an adjustable stem for flexible reading, and it even comes with a wide flat base where you can house your trinkets and loose change.
