The innovative interior of this HDB apartment has all the elements of a ship’s cabin.

Home Type: 5-room HDB
Stepping into this five-bedroom HDB flat, it’s hard not to imagine scenes of faraway travels. Done up to resemble a ship’s cabin, it conjures romantic notions of adventures at sea. The theme is undoubtedly an unusual one. The theme was given by the owner who wanted to feel like she was staying on a boat, explains the designer from D5 Studio Image.
Indeed, unlike conventional homes with white walls and square windows, what we find here are curved surfaces and circular cut-outs in a cabinet wall that resemble the portholes in a ship’s cabin.
