Just For Variety

A three-bedroom apartment by Chew Interior expertly negotiates the different aesthetic preferences of a family

When a family in Singapore decides to get a new home, chances are, each family member will have a different opinion on how they would want it to look like. The family who moved into this resale condominium apartment at Pasir Panjang was no different. The interior designer from Chew Interior explains that all four members of the family wanted specific things for their own spaces. Instead of finding a comfortable middle ground the design firm decided to create individual spaces according to each member’s preference.

The personalities of the different family members really show through in the bedrooms. The master room, for one, takes on a relaxing resort look defined by dark walnut tones and warm lighting. On the flipside, the son’s bedroom was inspired by football. As it turns out, there is always room for differences in a home.
