This family-centric home channels Scandinavian comfort with understated rustic nuances, expressed through tactile woven accents and rich woodgrain finishes. A sculptural arched feature wall, softly illuminated by cove lighting, introduces warmth and depth, while Shaker-style cabinetry upholds a sense of quiet order, unifying the space with its enduring charm.
With a demanding job and frequent travel, a father of three turned to Woodcraft Interior Design to create a spacious, family-friendly dwelling with multipurpose areas, ample storage, and easy maintenance. Designed on a modest budget, the home ensures comfort, safety, and practicality, offering a welcoming space for his family to enjoy, even in his absence.
Wrapped in soothing earth tones, the kitchen exudes warmth and balance, enhanced by herringbone-patterned flooring for added texture and contrast. Thoughtfully designed for efficiency, it features generous storage solutions with a mix of base and wall-hung cabinets, ensuring a clutter-free and highly functional cooking space.
The kitchen materials were carefully selected for easy upkeep, including the durable and decorative Cerarl wall panel from Admira, which has been applied as a stylish backsplash. Shaker-style cabinetry enhances the space with a touch of farmhouse charm, blending functionality with timeless appeal.
In the bedroom, V-groove wardrobe doors feature gold handles for added elegance, while an open shelf at the dressing table extends its length and offers additional storage.
With the full-length feature wall, this bedroom enjoys more privacy, and is shielded from the glare of the sun coming in through the windows. The geometric design adds visual interest while the warmly lit recessed shelf offers an opportunity to display items or even to hold bedtime necessities without the need for a side table.
The master bathroom radiates a resort-like ambience, with textured earth tones enhancing its tranquil appeal. The sewer pipe is neatly concealed for a seamless look, while the pedestal basin stands as a striking focal point.
