In this 2-bedroom condo apartment at the Tree House, the design team from D’ Initial Concept wanted to cultivate an easygoing vibe with a Scandinavian twist. Like most homes, this apartment has a long and narrow layout that proved to be limiting to the interior design. As such, the designers created a series of liveable spaces that flow easily from one area to the next.
First is the dining hall. D’ Initial Concept installed a large mirror panel on the wall to help enhance the space. Next is the living room, decked out in white walls, a brick feature wall and blonde timber accents.
Over in the private quarters, the designers managed to encourage a look that’s similar to a luxury hotel. The bed is slightly lifted off the floor and lit from beneath, giving it a floating effect. Additional details like the parquet floors and a careful mix of task and ambient lights create the hotel-like feel in this room.
