The minimalistic whiteness of this home by Plush Living belies its clever usage of finishes and placement of lights.

In Singapore, white is the safest colour for the home. However, white walls, ceilings and floor can make a home look cold and uninviting. So when it was time to do up this three-room HDB flat, the Plush Living designers wanted to give the whitewashed rooms a series of design elements that would allow it to contrast against run-of-the-mill designs.
This was achieved with the materials used throughout the home, as well as the clever placement of lights and other fixtures. The open-concept layout — with its clear glass doors and high-gloss surfaces — also allows this home to standout.
