At the Philips Light Lab, the future of home lighting feels less like a tech upgrade and more like a lifestyle rethink. One of their latest reveals is the WiZ HDMI Sync Box — a device that lets your room lighting respond in real time to whatever’s happening on screen. No cameras, no clunky setup — just immersive lighting that shifts with your games, movies, or music. It’s a unique way to make your living room feel that much more alive.

Then there’s the Philips Hue Play Wall Washer, which might just be our new favourite lighting piece. It’s slim, sculptural, and throws rich colour gradients and lighting effects across your walls with finesse. Whether synced to entertainment or left to glow softly in the background, it brings both drama and design cred.
But what really caught our attention is Philips Hue’s first generative AI assistant, landing in August and available to all Hue users. Instead of fussing with scenes and settings, you just describe the vibe you’re after and the app does the rest. It’s smart lighting – with intuition.

Bosch’s new Unlimited 10 cordless vacuum redefines how we think about clean — tackling not just visible debris but invisible particles down to 0.3 micrometres with patented MicroClean Technology. How to know it’s perfectly clean? A glowing MicroClean sensor ring confirms when there’s nothing left to capture. Unlimited 10 achieves top cleaning results even in reverse motion, making every sweep more effective and intuitive. What’s more the brush roll has an extra-large diameter, significantly reducing hair entanglement while vacuuming.
Available in two configurations, the BBS1041RBA (SGD 1,299) includes the core features, while the higher‑end BCS1051POW “ProPower” model (SGD 1,399) adds a longer‑lasting 5.0 Ah battery, upgraded accessories, and a quick charger.

The TFT display provides control over cleaning modes, from the well-known Auto, Eco, and Turbo power levels, to three special cleaning modes including the Fine Carpets setting. Less frequent bin empties are needed thanks to a hygienic dust compression slider reducing emptying by up to 50%. Combined with sealed airflow and HEPA filtration, it filters over 99.99% of dust — producing exhaust air that’s cleaner than typical room air and ideal for allergy‑sensitive homes.
From 15 July 2025, the Unlimited 10 is available at the Bosch e‑store, Shopee, Lazada, FairPrice Online, Bosch Experience Centre, and select COURTS and Gain City outlets. As part of a limited-time promotion (ending 31 August 2025), purchase either the BBS1041RBA or BCS1051POW to enjoy SGD 200 off and receive either a complimentary Quick Charger (worth SGD 109) or a 3.0 Ah exchangeable battery (worth SGD 169).

Now open at LuxeRoom in Raffles Hotel Arcade, Dorelan’s first dedicated Singapore showroom brings together Italian design rigour, material innovation, and a deep focus on sleep quality. The brand has been producing mattresses entirely in-house in Italy since 1968, with a clear emphasis on craftsmanship, ergonomics, and environmental responsibility.
At the heart of its collection is MyForm®, Dorelan’s proprietary foam technology engineered to contour the body, relieve pressure points, and regulate temperature. The Epic Mattress from Dorelan’s signature series blends MyForm® Extension with Micro and Adaptive Springs and features a built-in maxi topper adorned with Italian artisanal quilting. For more active lifestyles, the Re:Active Mattress is developed in collaboration with sports experts to support recovery through deeper, more restorative sleep.

With the launch of Nathan Home, acclaimed Singaporean designer Nathan Yong enters a new chapter in his career — one grounded in intentional design, material honesty, and Southeast Asian sensibility. Known for his thoughtful, quietly expressive approach to furniture, Yong’s latest venture is both a brand and a philosophy: a return to soulful design, intimate scale, and the everyday rituals that make a house feel like home.
Nathan Home takes shape across two platforms. Online, it offers a seamless way to explore and purchase the full collection, complete with thoughtful storytelling behind each piece. In person, it exists as a private gallery-home at 8 Baker Street — open by appointment only — where visitors can experience the furniture in a space designed to reflect real living.
There are four key collections. Essentials is where it begins — a line of everyday furniture that prioritises simplicity, longevity, and material warmth. Atelier explores a more expressive side, with refined details, experimental materials, and custom finishes. Collabs introduces voices from across Southeast Asia and beyond, celebrating creative dialogue and shared values while spotlighting emerging talent. And finally, Limited Editions showcases one-off and small-run pieces that blur the line between furniture and art — sculptural, soulful, and made to last.

Having recently opened at The Cathay, Thermomix® Singapore’s first flagship experiential store offers more than just a look at the brand’s signature all-in-one appliance — it invites visitors into a fully immersive, hands-on space dedicated to smarter home cooking. Within the 5,000-square-feet flagship showroom, one can expect live demos, themed workshops, and culinary masterclasses led by in-house advisors and guest chefs.
The launch coincides with the debut of the Thermomix® TM7, the brand’s most advanced model to date. Sleek in all-black and packed with features — from a 10-inch multi-touch display to an insulated mixing bowl and future-ready AI updates — the TM7 is touted to replace over 30 kitchen appliances in one compact form. As with previous models, it’s powered by Cookidoo®, Thermomix’s vast online recipe platform with over 100,000 guided recipes built right in.
