The second KING showroom in Singapore offers authentic Australian-designed furniture that meet the unique demands of modern life.

Since it landed on our shores six years ago with its flagship showroom in Kallang, Australian furniture company KING has been wowing homeowners here with its premium and modular solutions. Having built up a fan base, the company has now opened a new 3,900-square-foot showroom that’s conveniently located in Alexandra – mere minutes from the Orchard Road shopping belt.
The new KING Alexandra showroom displays a full range of multi-award-winning modular sofas, beds, mattresses, storage and dining pieces, and soft furnishings and accessories. KING furniture is made to order and customers can explore different colours, premium fabric and luxurious European leather swatches, and various configurations to create their own customised designs.
Two exciting new designs have been launched with the showroom’s opening and the first is the Vertio Wall System. This modular storage system shares similar principles of simplicity and refined workmanship with iconic modular shelving designs by mid-century designers like Poul Cadovius, Dieter Rams and Adriaan Dekker. Made of timber with black powder-coated metal components, the Vertio structure is sleek and sturdy, and comes with options of adding shelves, twin-door and fold-down cabinets secured by sculpted shelf brackets.
Perfect for homes of all sizes and layouts, the Vertio can be wall mounted or compression mounted between the floor and ceiling. These two options accommodate different types of walls, floors and ceiling structure, allowing for different placements. Notably, the system can be placed against the wall as shelving, or be used as a room divider. For more precise planning, you can even utilise the KING online configurator to build a custom design that works best with your space dimensions.
Also offering modularity is Kato, the latest sofa amongst KING’s best-selling modular sofas like Jasper, Delta and Zaza. Kato comes with a choice of a double or grand double chaise, curved corner modules, integrated timber components, and a contrasting base in European leather.
This sofa’s silhouette is quite a departure from the traditional L-shaped sofa. You’ll notice how its curved corner components bring a pleasing design flow to the room. Made with the signature KING steel frame, Kato is backed by a well-built foundation to support the elongated platforms that rest gracefully on sleek-looking legs. This tough steel frame also brings an elevated take on comfort and support with the PostureFlex system, which is inspired by the steel suspension system used in luxury cars.
Other thoughtful sofa features include integrated accessories such as timber shelves and media consoles, which provide open and hidden storage respectively. The larger media console even has the option of integrated smart motion-sensor lighting. Removable covers also make the Kato sofa a clear family favourite, as it provides ease of maintenance or replacement.
