When it comes to laminates in Singapore, Lamitak is among the most instantly recognisable names. You’ll spot its surfaces everywhere — from compact BTOs and stylish condos to chic cafés and elegant offices.
One thing that sets Lamitak apart is its bigger vision, expressed in the tagline “Inspiring sustainable spaces for a better planet.” Beyond good looks, the brand is about creating materials that last — responsibly.
So when a new collection drops, designers and homeowners alike sit up and take notice. The freshly launched Portfolio 2026/27 doesn’t just add to Lamitak’s library of colours and textures; it refocuses the conversation on the essentials of timeless functionality, stripped-back simplicity, and materials designed for real life.
In a world of fast-moving design fads, Lamitak’s Portfolio 2026/27 takes a deliberate step back. Instead of chasing novelty, it re-centres on the original purpose of surface design: to create materials that are timeless, functional, and meaningful.
“Good design starts with a good product,” says Jansen Tan, Director of Product & Brand at Lamitak. “This collection reflects that belief through its focus on quality, clarity, and creativity.”
The scale of the portfolio is impressive — over 500 designs spanning colours, patterns and textures. But this isn’t about quantity for its own sake. Each laminate is curated as part of a broader design vocabulary, giving homeowners and designers a dependable toolkit for building spaces with personality and longevity.
The catalogue itself has been rethought with the user in mind. Designs are organised by hue and level of intricacy, flowing naturally from light to dark within each category, and neatly grouped by variants and specialty types for easy browsing. Need the nitty-gritty? All the specs and technical details sit at the back for quick reference. Each product is also paired with a QR code, giving instant access to full details, application ideas, and even sample requests online. In short, it’s a catalogue that feels as intuitive as it looks.
The new portfolio builds on its roots of realism and craft, while pushing forward with fresh finishes that expand Lamitak’s range.
Highlights include:
As Jansen sums it up: “This collection merges modern urban spirit with the beauty of nature, inspired by road trips and explorations across the world. It is a journey of discovery that transforms into surfaces that feel both familiar and refreshingly new.”
