Weiken.com blends resort and Peranakan influences, giving this landed property the feel of a vacation home

Every interior design project comes with its own set of markers. In the case of this three-storey landed property, the homeowner specifically wanted his existing antique Peranakan furniture to be brought to the new home. As such, the design team worked out a concept that caters to this brief.
The designers proposed a mix of resort and Peranakan design ideas to incorporate the furniture into a contemporary design. This included the dark wood veneer feature wall in the living room, a large mirror with carved wood details in the dining room and warm wood accents in the master bathroom
