A black-and-white monochromatic home has the potential of making a dramatic statement

Home Type: 3-room HDB BTO
Floor Area: 750 sqft
A black-and-white monochromatic home has the potential of making a dramatic statement, as evident with this 3-room HDB BTO at Sengkang. Design firm QuadWork started with an all-white interior then embellished it with black linear designs that run through the entire home. This includes the trimmings that run the perimeter of the ceiling, floors and even doors. The effect is akin to a black outline that emphasises the dramatic use of space.
Jet black surfaces are also generously used in the home, like on the kitchen counter and as accents in the bedroom and study.
