Country home in the city

description

The country-style kitchen in light tones features a large 9-feet-long central island counter that is the family’s nexus for dining and entertaining. The designers have deliberately chosen wood-look floor tiles that exude a subtle colonial vibe to allow the living and dining spaces to flow one into another.

Large wooden beams across the ceiling stand out against the kitchen’s light and soothing colour palette and bring the unmistakable country chic feel into the heart of the home.

The master bathroom is kept light and airy with the use of subway tiles that feature luxe marble grain patterns. A simple black frame for the shower screen creates a subtle demarcation between the shower and sink area.

The oversized master bedroom was made possible by hacking a wall between two rooms. The spacious bedroom now features a long wardrobe done in a shaker style. Opposite the wardrobe, a batten board feature wall continues the contemporary country home aesthetic.
