This mood-defining industrial-styled kitchen is a showstopping space in this home. A tile-based counter becomes the focal point that the homeowners gravitate towards, and is as functional as it is beautiful. This kitchen has a masculine vibe, thanks to the black cabinets, steel structures and industrial pendant lights.

The spacious living room features a combination of textures that immediately sets you at ease. Especially of note is the integrated desk that’s held up by a steel frame. This study area looks into the living room, where track lights and wire mesh shelving successfully lend an industrial slant to the space. The armchair upholstery is inspired from old airplanes while a chesterfield sofa dominates the living area.

The man of the house’s affinity for collectible toys is attested with the numerous display storage to house them. Even play cards are displayed stylishly as the backdrop to this integrated desk area in the living space. Sleek black metal frames form the shelving system, a design that plays well into the home’s overall look. Here, the homeowners can store and display their possessions, including the different accoutrements sourced from their travels.

Random placement of red bricks laid into the wall become the feature backdrop of the living area. Custom built from black steel, the shelving system is a simple yet effective design, especially when paired with the track lighting.

While the communal areas have a strong industrial look, the bedroom takes on a more colourful approach. Here, a sublime mid-tone blue on the wall contrasts well with the headboard that features slanted grooves for added dimension. The combination of wood and painted wall feels light and cosy, and works well in a room that’s conducive to sleep. A high-back armchair with printed fabric helps to accent this space.

In this pared-down bathroom, the designers wanted a space that’s free of distractions yet easy on the eyes. A feature wall made up of printed graphic tiles adds a colourful touch to the soothing space. The fixtures in this bathroom also play an important role in the interior design. This includes the elegant bathtub and its jet-black faucet, as well as the eye-catching black washbasin.
