Journey East threw a party to celebrate the revamp of its showroom

Furniture retailer Journey East readily unveiled the transformation of its 8,600 square foot showroom at Tan Boon Liat Building on 26 July 2013. The newly revamped space appears larger, more spacious and clearly segmented the company’s many distinctive brands. The showroom also keeps to the spirit of Journey East, with fixtures made from materials that were recycled from the previous showroom.

Apart from celebrating the reinvigorated showroom, the party also introduced the new reclaimed teak wood collections from d-Bodhi such as ‘Touch’ and ‘Look’; as well as the brightly coloured Stripe collection from Mamagreen.

The party, which had a turnout of over 120 guests, also packed a couple of surprises, including an appearance from Raymond Davids, founder/CEO/chief-designer of d-Bodhi and a secret show by local indie-folk troubadour Nicholas Chim.
