Renovating a freshly minted condominium apartment is always a tricky thing. Not wanting to hack away spanking new finishes and fittings, yet desiring a home that oozed a little more individuality than neighbouring identical homes, the owners of this apartment at The Waterline engaged Ciseern to infuse their abode with natural touches without going down the path of a complete makeover.
In the living room, the walls have been sheathed in a laminate that appears like whitewashed timber. Faux marble laminates come into the picture as a clever way to divert attention away from joints. The bright turquoise sofa in the living room is the clear anchor of the space, and brings a cheery splash of colour to the space.
Other changes to the apartment include the mirrored wall in the dining room, bespoke carpentry in the study room, and a newly reconfigured dry kitchen.
