To open up the size of this HDB home, the designers at Plush Living played with colours, materials and angular designs that lend to the illusion of space.

Small HDB apartments can have the tendency to feel crammed and claustrophobic, which is why the designers at Plush Living wanted to open up this petite space. Light, neutral shades colour the walls and furniture, while glassy surfaces and opaque materials lend to the illusion of spaciousness. To up the design factor, angular lines and geometric shapes play prominent roles in this home. Also apparent is the lime green accent colour, adding a burst of life into the otherwise overpoweringly white rooms.
