If you’re an interior designer in Singapore, you probably already know of the Interior Design Confederation Singapore (IDCS) and its annual Design Excellence Awards (DEA) competition. Now, the organisation has launched its new membership programme, which would allow you to get more involved in the local interior design scene, as well as stay updated on the latest happenings and trends in the design and built environment industries.

There are various membership categories – Fellow Member, Professional Member, Associate Member, Corporate Member and Student Member. Check the IDCS website to see which one you fit into.
The Professional Development Programme (PDP), the first of its type in Singapore, has also been newly launched by the IDCS. Going hand-in-hand with the new memberships, it aims to elevate the standard of interior design practice in Singapore, by way of education through industry seminars, workshops, speaking engagements, networking events, study tours and more.
The PDP is not just for industry professionals, though – it’s open to the public, so anyone can take part! See the line-up below, for upcoming sessions.
For the first three years, the organisation is partnering with Akzonobel on the programme, to tap on its expertise in colour especially.
Find out more about the various membership categories here, and for more details contact Mr. Perry Ng at membership@idcs.sg. More about the IDCS and PDP here.
