We’ve got your weekend sorted out.
Cities for People is a 10-day programme with a myriad of performances, public installations, participatory projects, urban farming initiatives, public dialogues and workshops. It ends on 22 January, culminating in a Public Summit where ideas and possibilities are exchanged and discussed. It’s exciting to see the artistic and academic communities coming together with grassroots initiatives, making us think about the life-changing factors that affect all of us.
We’re also looking forward to The Harvesting: An Urban Farming Initiative, a series of programmes and workshops taking place at various locations at Gillman Barracks. There’ll event be a Farmers’ Market from 11am to 5pm, where you can expect to find street eats, creative arts, fresh produce and good vibes.
