A modern reinterpretation of a European style gives this HDB flat a unique and homely flair
12 July 2013
We all want to live in a beautiful home that is sleek, polished, neat and organised. The problem is, we sometimes go a bit too far and make the home feel cold and uninviting. The owners of this five-room HDB flat however, wanted to retain a lived-in, homely appeal, and approached the designers from Weiken.com for help.
The design team understood the dilemma, and strived to infuse the interiors with a modern European look that is equal parts charming and contemporary. Firstly, the HDB flat is given a straightforward, monochromatic colour scheme, then spiced up with complementary colours, patterns and materials.
