Luxury home for a family

description

With an appreciation of Design Rebirth‘s approach to interior design, this family trusted the firm to create a modern home fitted with practical solutions that work as good as they look. The tasteful selection of materials, loose furniture and lighting help create a luxurious home that exudes glamour and sophistication.

The welcoming foyer at the front of the house offers warmth and a sneak peek into the rest of the house. The material palette is made up of earthy materials such as the finished teak and soothing grey Italian homogeneous tiles. When combined with the white woven loose furniture, this transitional space is injected with character and charm.

To create a sense of spaciousness, there are no walls demarcating the living room, dining space and dry kitchen. A clear visual passage pulls the eye all the way to the back of the home where striking Melt pendant lamps dramatise the space. The look is distinctively contemporary, with a polished edge that is conducive to modern living.

The open-plan living, kitchen and dining create a contemporary feel through its crisp aesthetics and masculine colours. To capitalise on this floor plan, the large kitchen island transitions naturally into a dining table, linking both areas together. Wall-to-wall storage further utilises every inch of space, and pairs well with the polished marble floor and mirrored panels.

Upstairs, the galley-style walk-in wardrobe comprises American walnut hardwood flooring, chic mirrors and acrylic door panels. Lit from the inside, this luxurious closet looks like an expensive storefront, where everyday is a shopping experience. This grandiose space holds the wife’s precious collection of branded handbags and other fashion accessories.
