Having just bought a three-storey semi-detached house, Wynn Neo’s clients were looking to refurbish its interior with a fresh new contemporary look. They didn’t want anything too fancy, Wynn, the designer, says of the family of four. In fact, they emphasised that they wanted something very simple and unpretentious.
Given the 3,300-sqft floor area of the house, it would have been easy to over-indulge in trimmings and decorative flourishes. However, Wynn was careful to design the home with a restrained hand.
