Cafe-Inspired HDB Home by D’ Initial Concept

When we’re renovating our homes, we take inspiration from what makes us happy and comfortable. For the owners of this 4-room HDB, that inspiration comes from the laidback atmosphere of hip cafes. The young couple staying here want their home to replicate that sense of relaxation you get in a friendly coffee joint. After all, who wouldn’t want to come home to a place where you can kick back and unwind?

Charm and cheer are the hallmarks of this apartment. The cafe-like interiors are further boosted by vibrant colours and a well-curated mix of materials and furniture. This includes red brick walls, a chalkboard panel, a sunshine yellow wall and a deep cyan wall, all of which come together to result in a home that’s bursting with personality.
