Located in Simprug, south of Jakarta, Indonesia, this apartment is home to newlyweds in their late 20s.
Designed by Melvin Tan of Hello Embryo, the apartment has a cosy, yet upscale, modern look.
Renovated for around $80,000, it sports a trendy mix of decor styles and furnishings, as well as a wood and bronze-tone palette.
One of the main things the designer did was to integrate various display shelves and ledges throughout the home, to allow the couple to showcase their collection of decor accessories, plants and knick knacks.
Upon entering, the foyer sets the tone of the home. Plenty of storage space for shoes concealed behind a series of mirrors keeps the space neat and elegant looking.
The foyer opens up to a spacious living area, with the dining area to the left. An almost all-white open kitchen is separated from the dining area by a bar counter that’s ideal for entertaining friends.
One of the bedrooms was converted into a guest room, while the spare bedroom was combined with the master bedroom to allow the couple to have a walk-in wardrobe.
