There is no arguing that having a 6,200 sqft of land on which to build your home is a true luxury in land-scarce Singapore.

Home Type: Semi-detached house
Floor Area: 6,200 sqft
For the owners of this semi-detached house, the idea of luxury did not just stop at the large plot of land they had available. In fact, the family wanted spaces that would reflect a sense of luxury while maintaining a contemporary feel. Together with The Interior Place, the family achieved the dream home that they had in mind.
Needless to say, the design of the interior takes full advantage of the amount of space available. In the living area, a large feature panel stretches out in an almost cinematic manner in front of the equally impressive sofa set that easily seats 10. A thick band of black mirror is mounted against a white backdrop that is textured but a relief of checks.
From the living area, a short corridor leads to the dining area. However, not one to ignore transitional spaces, the design team incorporated a series of hanging crimson glass ornaments from the ceiling. These ornaments are a prelude to the highly burnished dining area, where full-height mirrors, glossy black finishes and a dramatic black glass chandelier all come together.
