Back with a stronger festival vision with more than 50 exciting events over 10 days, Singapore Design Week 2022 is bound to have something for everyone. The new Singapore Design Week is set to shine the spotlight on Singapore’s design strengths. Grounded by three pillars – Design Futures, Design Marketplace and Design Impact – this premier design festival will see a stellar line-up of 200 designers and creatives.

Get a sense of Singapore as a futuristic city of design and innovation economy with Design Futures, which looks at the future of design and design of the future in a time when humanity is grappling with complex challenges. This pillar focuses on an optimistic future for Singapore and the world through the lens of a forward-looking Singapore. Helmed by design curator and author Paola Antonelli from the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the Design Futures Symposium will feature distinguished thought leaders from Singapore and around the world to explore how design is fundamental to the strategies for the future and progress.

The Design Marketplace pillar is anchored by FIND – Design Fair Asia, Asia’s newest and largest furniture, interiors and design fair. FIND – Global Summit, led by design tastemakers Tony Chambers and Yoko Choy of Wallpaper* magazine, will spark conversations with design opinion leaders on key trends and topics.

The third pillar, Design Impact, showcases innovative real-life solutions to highlight design as a driving force for transformation. The public can check out Singapore’s most impactful designs through the President*s Design Award (P*DA) tours and the Good Design Research pop-up, among other things. Here are eight signatures events not to be missed at Singapore Design Week 2022.
