Dyson has unveiled its latest generation of purification machines with new solid-state formaldehyde sensing technology. These new products are designed to capture ultrafine dust and allergens, and even destroy harmful VOCs including formaldehyde, which are released by furniture containing formaldehyde-based resins, as well as paint, varnishes and various household cleaning products.
According to Dyson, while other gel-based formaldehyde sensors can deteriorate over time and are easily confused with other VOC pollution, Dyson’s new, solid-state formaldehyde sensor works alongside Dyson’s unique algorithm to precisely monitor formaldehyde levels – intelligently ignoring other gases which are detected by a dedicated VOC sensor.
Dyson has also re-engineered the machine airflow pathways to achieve fully-sealed HEPA 13 standard filtration – not only ensuring that no air bypasses the filter, but blocking any potential leak points through which dirty air might enter the airflow. This means Dyson’s latest purifiers remove 99.95% of particles as small as 0.1 micron such as allergens, bacteria, H1N1 virus, pollen and mould spores to protect you and your health.
Improvements to the airflow journey have also made the Dyson Pure Cool and Dyson Pure Cool Formaldehyde 20% quieter to reduce unwanted noise at home.

Compared to conventional water purifiers where the faucet and filtration device are housed in a single unit, The One separates the two elements to create a more streamlined design that saves space.
Measuring 8.8cm in diameter and 33.7cm in height, the dispensing unit is ultra slim in size but big on smart design.
