Aside from creating a practical home with lots of storage, the designers have brought style and character into the space by incorporating thoughtful little details into the design.

In the spacious living and dining area, the design team have created row of easy-to-access white laminated cabinets that stretch across the entire length of wall, with angular lines elevating the practical feature into an eye-catching design statement.

In the living room, Story of Us has also designed a feature wall made of narrow planks of wood set in a tight, diagonal arrangement. Aside from the striking pattern and the touch of natural warmth it brings to the space, this design also has the benefit of neatly concealing unsightly electrical wiring.

The children’s room features a touch of whimsy with a wallpapered wall of colourful illustrations. Apart from that, the furniture have been carefully selected to complement the home’s overall scheme.

The home’s clean-cut style continues through to the study room, where the combination of a custom-built desk, overhead cupboards and a whiteboard wall provides the homeowners with a neat space conducive to work and study. Woody finishes are paired with splashes of colour to enliven this room.

The master bedroom is cosy and elegant, with a dark moody grey wall and wooden fence-inspired headboard facilitating an atmosphere of rest. With a knack for making the most of a space, the designers have also cleverly transformed the bay window into a desk with built-in shelving so this area may be more effectively used.
