Design firm Meter Cube gave this apartment the right balance of industrial and modern elements
28 September 2016
In this spacious apartment, interior design firm Meter Cube accentuated the space with an open plan layout. Cement screed finishing on the floor, black track lighting and black-painted electrical trunking bring about a raw industrial feel to the space.
Separated into two areas with a sliding glass door, the kitchen comprises a dry pantry and a space for heavy cooking. The pantry also provides space for quick food preparation and can be easily accessed from the dining space through the half-height wall.
In the bedrooms, space has been fully utilised by incorporating the desks into the wardrobe design. While one bedroom is awash in lively blue and purple shades, the other two bedrooms are clad in wood grains and a light neutral palette that creates a soothing atmosphere for rest.
