Arean Wong, managing director at Space Vision Design, admits that his personal design preference tends towards the sleek, loungey sort. The daring look might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but design destiny led Arean to a client who favoured the same style for his three-storey bungalow, albeit with a hint of luxe thrown in for good measure.

Like a scene straight out of a club, the living area has a club-like vibe, thanks to the use of LED lighting that casts the room in a sensual purple glow. Alternating bands of mirror panels form a central feature wall and on an adjacent wall, swoops and curved lines are articulated on the mirror, adding a sense of dynamism to the space.
