Tung Ching Yew is the Founder and Managing Director of SODA (Spirit Of Design Analogy), a Singapore-based spatial design consultancy. With more than 25 years of experience, his work spans commercial and retail environments across Asia, translating brand strategy, customer experience and operational insight into spatial solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Alongside practice, Ching Yew has served for over 15 years as an adjunct lecturer at institutions including Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Nanyang Polytechnic and Temasek Polytechnic, mentoring emerging designers and bridging academic learning with industry practice. He also contributes to regional design discourse as a juror and keynote speaker, and is the Immediate Past President of the Society of Interior Designers Singapore (SIDS).
