Back in its home country in the US, furniture and homeware store Crate and Barrel is the prime choice for couples to sign up for their wedding registry. And although the practice isn’t common in Singapore culture (we prefer receiving ang pows, thank you), Crate and Barrel Singapore has planned something right up our alley. The Wedding Party Event is a curated event on 20 June 2015 specially for couples who are planing to get married, planning a wedding, or even planning to renew their vows.
Crate and Barrel already has an exhaustive range of homeware and furniture to start your life together, but the team is going a step further with its Wedding Party Event. Crate and Barrel has curated a selection of wedding vendors – ranging from dress-makers to tailors, food caterers to makeup artists – to help you with your wedding planning.
On 20 June 2015, Crate and Barrel will close its doors for this RSVP-only private event at ION Orchard. Wedding vendors will set up shop during this store-in-store party, and you’ll be treated to food, drinks, complimentary services and exclusive offers. You’ll also be able to pick up the art of styling your table and tips on how to decorate your home. Guests will also walk away with a special gift from Crate and Barrel and a 20% discount that’s valid for a 6-month period.
Some of the vendors that will be present include renowned names like Carrie K. Artisan Jewelry (offering a complimentary ring fitting and a $30 gift voucher), Cleo Chang Makeup (offering a complimentary airbrush makeup and 5% discount) and Suitsupply (offering styling tips and an exclusive Bachelor’s Knot).
