The theme for Design Trails this year, “Design Day Out in the City”, aims to get participants to uncover how design can inspire people in the way we live, work and play in our city. Through intimate talks, interactive demos and behind-the-scenes showcases, participants have an inside peek into the creative community.
This year, the journey will start at the National Design Centre, and continue to innovative offices such as Collision 8, a co-working space at North Bridge Road, and the Airbnb office in Tanjong Pagar. The route will take participants to Oasia Hotel Downtown, Singapore; Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre; Chong Wen Ge, a multi-faceted heritage landmark; Journey East, a furniture retailer; and Sing Mui Heng, a specialist in fashion craft materials; and Telok Ayer Park. Participants may hop on and off the free shuttle bus at any of the stops.
