Avenue by Quadwork turns the interior designer showroom into a cafe
7 May 2015
Interior design firm Quadwork is paving the way with fresh, new ideas of bringing interior design to the masses. Instead of opening up a plain office, showroom or design gallery, the trendsetting folks at Quadwork are doing something a little different. They’ve unveiled Avenue by Quadwork, a quaint cafe-cum-office showroom at Joo Chiat Road.
Avenue is a cafe that sells bespoke coffee drinks and a variety of custom hotdogs inspired by international cuisines. But a closer look at the cafe setting reveals the Quadwork’s clever way of bringing design to the masses. Avenue is designed to resemble a home, complete with kitchen systems, a living room and a dining area. Each space showcases the design company’s skills, techniques and material choices, showcasing the many options and possibilities you have when renovating your home.
The show kitchen for example, lets you test out different kitchen fittings like soft-closing cabinet doors from different brands. Even the feature walls and floors throughout this cafe lets you experience firsthand the differences between materials like laminates versus veneer, or craftstone versus panelling.
Apart from interior design solutions, Avenue by Quadwork also showcases the design firm’s expertise in space planning and customising furniture. Take in the endless possibilities of interior design while sipping on a cup of coffee.
Avenue by Quadwork is located at 454/456 Joo Chiat Road. Check out some of Quadwork’s residential designs here.
