What are the things that define a good home to return to? When we sit back and consider the question, the answer often turns out to be the same: light-filled, comfortable, unpretentious and enjoyable spaces. It doesn’t need to be fancy and it certainly doesn’t need unnecessary bells and whistles – those only serve to distract.
So it isn’t surprising that when Ciseern was commissioned to design this semi-detached house, the brief only asked for an easy contemporary look that would also harness Singapore’s tropical context.
