Another year, another success for BEX Asia – the building industry exhibition that’s working towards a sustainable tomorrow.

These days, the reality of dwindling land area is perhaps only second to the environmental turmoil our planet is in. The two are not unrelated. Shrinking spaces do call for a green approach in constructing our built environment. Creating our homes and the places we work in and play consumes much more energy and resources than we can imagine. We have had to rethink our old ways in order to become more sustainable today. For this, part of the praise goes to Build Eco Xpo (BEX) Asia.
BEX Asia is an industry- and regional-wide expo on building green. Held this year from 14 to 16 September at the Suntec Convention Centre, this has been its fourth showing. Always comprehensive and informative, the event draws 250 companies from nearly 30 countries exhibiting the latest green technologies, products and services. The event reportedly saw a record-breaking amount of visitors at 7,693, an increase of seven per cent from last year.
