When an architect and a creative director put their areas of expertise to practice in their own home, you see some really arty, innovative ideas come to life.
Engineered wood panelling makes for a statement feature wall, which includes a display niche – and a marine blue hue on the wall opposite it adds a nice contrast.
Coral-hued bar stools by Hay, from Grafunkt, keep the honey-hued wood wall from overpowering the compact space.
In the foyer, the owners thoughtfully built a bench next to the shoe cabinet. A display shelf above it adds visual interest.
Washi tape that spells ‘home’ comes in handy for the glass door dividing the wet kitchen and the dry kitchen.
The homeowner, who crafts terrariums for his little home business, Garcon Plant Factory, makes double use of the dining table as a workbench.
