Profile image: Vincent Ang, Principal Curator; Miki Soon, Senior Design Curator; Pinky Kywe, Senior Design Curator
Location: Black N White Haus’ office. The team spends a lot of time here and it’s like their second home. Apart from being a place where they bond and work together, this very space allows them to showcase their unique design style to their clients.

What is your firm’s design identity?
Black N White Haus curates lifestyle statements based on the four elements of our design philosophy. Firstly, balance signifies the concept of visual equilibrium. Secondly, unity translates to the fluid integration of spaces. Thirdly, harmony relates to all aspects of interior design to create calm, serene and comfortable spaces. And lastly, rhythm expresses variety to keep a space interesting for years to come.

What makes your firm and its work unique?
Black N White Haus believes that every home should reflect the homeowner’s lifestyle and character. Inspired by the individuals we have designed for, we have gained extensive experience across a variety of interior styles; from contemporary to rustic, and eclectic to classical. Additionally, our trained curators deliver exquisite designs and create houses for our clients to call their beautiful homes.

What are your areas of expertise?
Our area of expertise is not limited to creating storage, space planning, material [selection] and et cetera. In fact, we are able to incorporate individual lifestyles and characters to spaces. We also create bespoke pieces in customised homes.

What are your recent milestones?
Our condo project was shortlisted for the 2019 Lookbox Design Awards. It was a strong testament to our belief that a home should be a lifestyle statement for the individual.
