Step into this HDB flat at Fernvale Link and you might be surprised at how reinvigorated you will feel. The newlyweds renovated their BTO HDB with the help of interior design firm Atelier Concept. And while more Singapore homes are picking up on the Scandinavian trend, this home goes a step further with an interior design that adds a playful twist to the look.
Atelier Concept knocked away walls to open up the floor space, as seen in areas like the living room and the double volume master bedroom. This made way for a more luxurious looking interior.
The highlight of this home however, is how young and lively it feels. The design team included fun elements like a foosball table and a chalkboard wall. Colours are also a talking point in this flat: zesty yellow walls in the gym room, blue mosaic in the kitchen and a patterned wall behind the dining room.
