Sometimes, keeping things simple is best. Take this home by ID Emboss, designed for homeowners who wanted nothing more than a pared down, contemporary apartment with hints of warmth.
They were quite partial to the easy vibe of resorts but wanted a more modern design, says the design team from ID Emboss. From this design brief, they decided to infuse the home with warm, timber tones, but always within a framework of slim, modern lines. The living area benefits from a carpet of timber laminating in a deep walnut tone. This continues into the master bedroom as well.
