Interior design firm Dots ‘N’ Tots breathed new life into this 5-room resale flat at Geylang Bahru

Home Type: 5-room HDB
Floor Area: 1,180 sqft
Interior design firm Dots ‘N’ Tots breathed new life into this 5-room resale flat at Geylang Bahru. The 1180 sqft space was given a complete makeover. Gone are the tired interiors and crammed space; instead, an industrial-tinged design gives the humble abode a brand new lease of life.
The designers also repurposed the spaces to craft out a floorplan that works for the homeowners. The master bedroom, for example, has been partitioned to make way for a narrow yet efficient walk-in wardrobe. A balanced mix of polished surfaces (on the floors) and rougher finishes (on the feature wall) come together well, and is complemented by the soft billowing drapes and light-filled windows.
