To make this 2-bedroom apartment a stylish and homely abode for a young couple, the design team from I.D.I.D incorporated soothing shades of cream, taupe and other neutral colours, as well as luxurious looking materials. The result is an elegant and timeless style that reflects the homeowners’ personality, without compromising on practicality.

In the living area, the TV feature wall is created using stone-look tiles with varied light-to-dark tones, laid on the wall in a strip pattern. A wall-mounted console, designed in the same linear language, adds to the functionality of the space.

Dark tinted mirror panels frame the open kitchen – a picture of understated glamour and sophistication.

Instead of simply being an extension of the kitchen, the peninsula counter that separates the kitchen from the rest of the living area is both a breakfast bar and formal dining area.

The master bedroom’s design prompts a sense of rest and relaxation, with the use of plush upholstery and soft furnishings.

Storage is concealed behind mirrored panels, which help to ake the room feel more spacious. The bed headboard, featuring a tufted panel, backdrops the room and is the focal point of the space.

The dresser was designed to fit perfectly between the bed and the open-concept bathroom, to tie both spaces together for a unified look.
