Home Type: Condominium Apartment

The Habitat One designers are known for being able to bump up the comfort factor of any home they design. This skill is evident in the projects the take on, like this condominium apartment at The Caspian. Once the home renovations were completed, the homeowners are greeted by a clean and cosy interior that lulls them into complete relaxation.

In the living room, a wooden feature wall takes centrestage. But instead of a regular block of wood, the designers added strips of details to break the expanse and introduce texture to the feature. This wall also wraps around the corner, softening the angles in this apartment with this simple but effective detail.
Although the use of wood laminates is a mainstay in this home, the Habitat One designers visually marked each room with different tones of wood. The dining room, which sits just outside of the kitchen, is demarcated by lighter blonde timber, and the study room features a darker, heftier wood tone. The bedrooms on the other hand, downplay the use of wood surfaces in favour of softer textiles and fabrics.
